Hear our carol singers
Carols and Christmas songs from our winter sets
Films of our singers in the carols and songs we sing at office parties, receptions, lobbies and church carol services. The voices you hear belong to the singers you would book.
Four carol singers from £1,150 for two hours, with London travel included. See Christmas prices.
It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, the Andy Williams song from 1963, sung by our full choir.
Carols
Carols, sung by eight voices. Once in Royal David’s City, O Little Town of Bethlehem and Ding Dong! Merrily on High work at a carol service or a party; Carol of the Bells we keep for events.
-
Once in Royal David’s City
Mrs Alexander’s words to Gauntlett’s tune. It opens the Nine Lessons and Carols at King’s College, Cambridge, and guests at a party or reception know it from the first verse.
-
O Little Town of Bethlehem
Phillips Brooks wrote the words in 1868; British congregations sing them to Forest Green, the Surrey folk tune Vaughan Williams arranged for the English Hymnal. It is slower than most carols, so we use it to bring a set down, at a reception or in church.
-
Ding Dong! Merrily on High
A French dance tune from 1589 with words George Ratcliffe Woodward added in 1924. Guests hear the long Gloria runs over a crowd, and a congregation can join the refrain after a reading.
-
Carol of the Bells
Leontovych’s Ukrainian carol of 1914, built on a four-note bell figure that runs almost the whole way through.
Christmas songs
Close-harmony arrangements of the songs guests expect at a party, sung between the carols. It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, at the top of the page, is another.
-
Winter Wonderland
The 1934 song by Felix Bernard and Richard Smith. Its words are about snow rather than Christmas, so it suits a reception that wants seasonal music without a run of carols.
-
Blue Christmas
The Elvis number, sung in four-part harmony. We put it between the traditional carols at drinks receptions and office parties.
“The choir were the highlight of our Christmas drinks. They moved through the crowd singing carols and it completely transformed the atmosphere. Several clients have already asked if we’re doing it again next year.”
Our clients include law firms, banks, hotels, and charities.
Book the singers you have heard
Most of these films are the full choir of eight, which costs £2,000. A December date costs the same as one in June. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day carry a premium of around 25%, which we confirm in the written quote. Christmas prices with worked examples →
